Welcoming New Patients

I believe deeply in forming collaborative relationships with my patients to create shared plans of care that empower patients and families to obtain their best health. I enjoy practicing a full spectrum of primary care including an emphasis on preventive health for both children and adults, newborn care and the management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure and heart disease. I also enjoy performing minor office procedures such as skin mole biopsies and removals, joint injections (knees, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hip bursitis and trigger fingers), IUDs, toenail removals, skin lesion treatments, laceration repairs and splinting of sprains and minor fractures.

I believe in improving all other aspects of people’s lives, including social determinants of health like housing, food security and education, as well as physical and emotional health to fully realize global personal well-being. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling with my husband, trying different cuisines, gardening, reading and cheering on the Vikings and the Twins. I also enjoy collecting college t-shirts and Kentucky Derby Mint Julep glasses.
