“I believe people can be empowered to cope with and grow from life’s struggles through a combination of physical and cognitive-behavioral interventions.”
Mindy Heinen, MS, LMFT
Welcoming New Patients
As a marriage and family therapist, the foundation of my practice is understanding people in the context of their family system and using evidence-based practices to address their concerns. The emotional struggles a person may face at a given time are often understandable given their family history, physical health, genetics and life circumstances.
I believe people can be empowered to cope with and grow from life’s struggles through a combination of physical and cognitive-behavioral interventions. That is why I am so grateful to work in close collaboration with primary care and specialty providers.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, being outdoors, music and spending time with friends and family.
