Welcoming New Patients

I take time to listen carefully to my patients and create a personalized approach to health care that they agree with and understand. Beyond obstetrics and gynecology, I have skills in many other areas so I can help treat the whole person. For example, I often help patients get started with cholesterol medicine, pinpoint thyroid issues or find the right resources to treat depression. My patients cover a wide span of ages, and I especially enjoy working with women as they go through menopause.

One of my preferences is minimally invasive surgery, and most of my surgery is performed that way. Before I offer surgery as an option, I help my patients explore all the non-surgical options first. Besides doing surgery, I spend a lot of time teaching, and supporting patients working on weight loss and self-maintenance. I enjoy the diversity of my practice and seeing women from many different cultures. We are all the same in so many ways, and I learn as much from my patients as they do from me.

In my spare time, I like to write, read and travel.
